"Why can't you behave?" It wasn't the question of a nagging mother. For Ted Wilson, it was a self-imposed life sentence. Although a veteran Christian, he spent years analyzing, monitoring and trying to change his behavior. Ted eventually found that trying to behave was an exhausting battle he was losing. Without answers and feeling weary, he ended up angry and lonely. "I'm realizing," says Ted, "the only question I need to ask is, 'God, will you change my heart?' Then, like the old gospel song says, Jesus becomes The Answer."

Ted brings a message of hope to believers worn out from trying too hard. His voice is that of a gentle shepherd who has learned to accept the human condition that as a daily reminder, we need to be asking the correct questions. Psalm 139:23 is a life verse for Ted, "Search me, oh God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts."

Ted's acoustic style is reminiscent of Michael Card or Dan Fogelberg... soothing yet thought-provoking. He is a serious-minded musician, having graduated Fort Wayne Bible College with a BA in Pastoral Ministries and a minor in Music Theory and Composition. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has developed a comfortable confidence in front of an audience as a vocalist, instrumentalist, choir director and worship leader.

If the question on your mind is whether Ted Wilson can behave... don't fool yourself. He can't. But he does have The Answer for that one.
