Journey of Faith

Marriage to Ted had taken me many places. Ted is not one to let moss grow under his feet so he is constantly on the move. The Lord knew I needed a fella like that in my life for my own good. We have been married about 22 years and so far the biggest adventure God has used to grow my faith began a little over 3 years ago.

Ted had been part time with Incubator Records for 2 years and then we felt the leading to go full time into TBWAF Ministry. That was a HUGE step of faith for me. You see, I had to overcome my friend – Fear!

My list included: fear of leaving a regular paycheck, fear of the unknown, etc. But God had graciously been preparing me and confirming the decision through Bible study and prayer. I began to pray specific prayers. I bought a small glass vase at the dollar store and a bag of small polished stones. I would place a stone in the vase for each answered prayer. In a short while my vase was full! My faith grew with each small stone.

Now after 3 years my faith is still growing. TBWAF Ministry is still growing as well. I still fight fear of the unknown sometimes, but my faith is in the One I know – God. I still have those stones to remind me of His faithfulness.
